01. Background

Frisbi helps e-commerce sellers expand internationally by simplifying shipping, customs, and compliance. Before Frisbi360, clients and internal teams were juggling carrier portals, spreadsheets, and email threads. When it comes to rates, labels, duties, and invoices, this was quite challenging. That fragmented process slowed bookings, raised customs risk, and kept billing opaque.

Matech CO built a single web platform where merchants could ship globally with confidence. Meanwhile, it unified pricing, carrier invoices, returns, and accounts across UPS, FedEx, DHL, and marketplace channels like Amazon.

02. Challenges

Cross-border shipping is complex. Our client had to span rate shopping, labels, commercial invoices, HS codes, duty estimates, pickups, insurance, and returns. Further billing compounded the challenge and made things worse. They had to work excessively hard to match carrier invoices to client charges, resolve conflicts, and track overdue balances.

Other than that, the platform also needed multi-tenant accounts and role-based access for Frisbee staff and sellers. Apart from all these hurdles, integrations across payments, email, accounting, and CRM were also tricky. Delivering this reliably as SaaS required deep logistics expertise and a robust, scalable architecture.

05. Solutions

Matech CO engineered Frisbi360 as a multi-tenant SaaS portal as requested. It was built on an Angular SPA, Node.js/Express API, and MongoDB. Following that, sellers create single or batch shipments, compare carrier rates, generate labels and commercial invoices, schedule pickups, manage Amazon addresses, and run duty and tax calculators before booking.

A returns module and exception queues handle shipment issues, insurance claims, and CRM sync errors. Meanwhile, billing covers client invoices, carrier invoice processing, payments, conflict resolution, unbilled shipments, and overdue balances. Client admin supports custom pricing, fuel, peak, remote, and IOR surcharges, as well as customs settings and document management.

Role-based access separates client, agency, and Frisbi staff permissions across the platform. Integrations span Cardknox, MailTrap, AWS storage, QuickBooks, Zoho, and Frisbi's internal FCS rating engine. The result is one operational system that unifies quoting, labeling, clearance, and billing for both sellers and Frisbee teams.
