01. Background
Intralinks is a premier, cloud-based financial technology provider. It is dedicated to serving banking, dealmaking, and capital market professionals worldwide. The company excels at secure information exchange, strategic transaction markets, and robust cross-organizational collaboration solutions.
To support its complex operations, we integrate various third-party services across its digital ecosystem. Our team actively analyzes these ongoing requirements to engineer and deliver custom web solutions. As a result, we ensure that their massive platform runs smoothly no matter what.
02. Challenges
Following a successful design migration, several critical challenges emerged at once for our developers. Moving from CSS Injector to a native SCSS pipeline caused broken UI in certain regions.
Their cached assets failed to propagate uniformly across Akamai edge nodes. Similarly, when we upgraded Drupal to version 11, there was a slight chance of disrupting live functionality.
In that case, our experts required careful handling of deprecated modules and breaking API changes. In the end, migration of Pantheon to the full site Acquia with zero downtime was a bit tricky, too. Last but not least, transitioning the search from Acquia Search to SOLR was quite challenging; we nailed it. But added significant infrastructure complexity to an already active and fast-moving project.

Once the team had analyzed all requirements, execution began across every challenge at once. For the SCSS migration, all CSS Injector styles were refactored into a structured SCSS architecture, compiled locally with Node.js, and validated for consistent rendering across all regions and browsers.
Drupal 11 upgrades were managed through module compatibility audits, deprecated API replacements, and phased regression testing that kept production stable at every step. As a matter of fact, Feature enhancements were delivered continuously per management requirements.
We did all work tracked through a structured pipeline and monitored against performance standards. The Acquia-to-Pantheon migration was completed without downtime or data loss. They preserved all configurations and site integrity.
Moreover, the search functionality was overhauled from Acquia Search to SOLR, enabling accurate, criteria-based results with rigorous end-to-end testing. Thanks to Matech CO, their platform now runs faster, more reliably, and is ready to scale.
